This afternoon, CATL introduced the Tianxing II Light Commercial Series Power Batteries, which encompass four distinct models: the Super Fast Charging Version, the Long Range Version, the High-Temperature Super Fast Charging Version, and the Low-Temperature Version. Notably, the Low-Temperature Version represents the industry's inaugural mass-produced sodium-ion battery. It features a capacity of 45 kWh, an energy density of 175 Wh/kg, and a remarkable cycle life that surpasses 10,000 cycles. This battery is well-suited for small and medium-sized VANs, micro and small trucks, as well as various other vehicle types. Even under the harsh conditions of -40℃, it maintains 90% of its charge. Moreover, at -30℃, it can be immediately plugged in and charged after being frozen through.
