Data from the China Automotive Terminal reveals that in December 2025, the sales volume of pure electric large three-row SUVs hit 54,518 units, marking an 18% month-on-month increase. This is the first time that the monthly sales volume has surpassed 50,000 units, setting a new record. Moreover, these vehicles have topped the sales rankings among all powertrain types for four consecutive months. During the same period, the sales volumes of plug-in hybrid, fuel-powered, and extended-range vehicles stood at 49,760 units, 38,123 units, and 37,919 units, respectively. In the second half of 2025, the sales volume of pure electric large three-row SUVs witnessed a remarkable 351% year-on-year growth.
