On January 20, Honda announced that it would halt production of its current-model fuel cell systems by the end of 2026 at its joint venture with General Motors, Fuel Cell System Manufacturing LLC. After production stops, Honda will adopt its independently developed next-generation fuel cell system and expand its hydrogen energy business.
