Spurred on by the robust demand for models like MG and BYD, in December 2025, the total sales of Chinese automakers in Europe witnessed a remarkable year-on-year surge of 126%, hitting 109,864 vehicles. This achievement marked the inaugural instance where monthly sales surpassed the 100,000-vehicle threshold, enabling Chinese automakers to seize nearly 10% of the European automotive market. Over the course of the entire year, sales of Chinese automakers in Europe nearly doubled, rocketing up by 99% year-on-year to reach 810,982 vehicles, and they secured a market share of 6.1%.
