On January 16, the Cyberspace Administration of China, in conjunction with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other relevant departments, initiated a targeted campaign to address online irregularities within the automotive industry. This initiative specifically aims to combat practices that involve inciting group conflicts, amplifying negative topics, and conducting non-compliant evaluations. Several accounts found to be in violation have been penalized in accordance with the law.

Notably, automotive-focused platforms such as 'Autohome' and 'PCauto' have disseminated biased evaluation information through non-standardized evaluation projects, including 'Winter Tests' and 'Intelligent Driving Comparative Reviews.' This has misled the public's understanding of automotive product quality, functionality, and performance. At present, the accounts involved have been duly penalized in accordance with both legal provisions and platform agreements.
