Data released by the Passenger Car Market Information Sub-Branch (Joint Operation) of the China Automobile Dealers Association reveals that in December 2025, pickup truck sales in China soared to 52,000 units, marking an 8.8% year-on-year surge and hitting a near-five-year peak. The cumulative sales for the entire year (from January to December) amounted to 589,000 units, up by 11.8% compared to the previous year. On the production front, December witnessed the manufacture of 48,000 pickup trucks, a 5.2% increase from the same period last year, reaching a five-year high. The annual production volume climbed to 575,000 units, reflecting a robust 14% year-on-year growth.
