On January 14, China Changan Automobile Group and CATL inked a Memorandum of Understanding to fully deepen their strategic partnership. The two entities are set to embark on extensive collaboration across a spectrum of areas, including co-branding initiatives, pioneering technological advancements, terminal market promotions, expansion into overseas markets, assurance of high-quality supply chains, and joint venture projects, all aimed at collectively navigating and capitalizing on the burgeoning new energy vehicle market.

Concurrently, the signing ceremony for the Times Changan Power Battery Project was also held. Nestled in the Beibei district of the Chuanyu Gaozhu New Area, this project stands as a pivotal element within Changan Automobile's overarching strategic blueprint. Once operational, the project is poised to supply technologically sophisticated power batteries for new energy vehicles to esteemed brands such as Avatr, Shenlan Automobile, and Changan Qiyuan. This development is anticipated to significantly propel the growth of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle sector within the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
