On January 14, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, the Shanghai Municipal Transport Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau jointly unveiled the "Model-Driven Intelligent Mobility Action Plan" tailored for Shanghai's High-Level Autonomous Driving Pilot Zone. Adhering to the overarching strategy of "model-driven innovation, application-oriented demonstrations, industrial synergy, and policy-backed support," this plan is designed to expedite the conversion of technological advancements in autonomous driving into robust industrial competitiveness. It envisions that by 2027, advanced autonomous driving application scenarios will see widespread deployment. Additionally, public service platforms will provide robust support for industry innovation, with key technologies and industrial scale achieving global leadership.
