On January 14, data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that China's automobile production and sales volumes reached 34.531 million and 34.4 million units respectively in 2025, up 10.4% and 9.4% year-on-year, ranking first globally for 17 consecutive years. Among them, the production and sales volumes of new energy vehicles both exceeded 16 million units, accounting for over 50% of domestic new vehicle sales and becoming the dominant force in the market. Automobile exports exceeded 7 million units, with new energy vehicle exports reaching 2.615 million units, doubling year-on-year, marking a successful conclusion to the '14th Five-Year Plan'.
