On January 14th, reports emerged indicating that XPENG outlined its 2026 sales goal during an internal strategic meeting, aiming to deliver 550,000 to 600,000 vehicles over the course of the year. This target marks an approximate 28.1% to 39.7% increase over the projected 429,400 units expected to be sold in 2025, necessitating an average monthly delivery volume of 45,800 to 50,000 units. XPENG’s CEO, He Xiaopeng, announced that the company plans to launch seven dual-energy (hybrid) vehicle models featuring super extended-range capabilities in 2026. This lineup will include three upgraded super extended-range products and four entirely new models. At present, XPENG has already rolled out extended-range versions of several models, including the XPENG X9, XPENG P7+, and XPENG G7. Beyond enhancing range technology, XPENG will prioritize the advancement of intelligent features, expediting the rollout of its in-house “Turing chip + second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action)” system. This move aims to strengthen its technological brand identity and establish a competitive edge in premium models and trims.
