On January 13, 2026, XPENG Motors unveiled its '1,000 Mobile Charging Stations' Public Welfare Collaboration Initiative. The program aims to recruit 1,000 owners of XPENG X9 super range-extended vehicles. These participating owners will harness the Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) power discharge functionality of their vehicles to deliver emergency charging services to fellow new energy vehicle owners facing urgent charging needs amidst the bustling Spring Festival travel period, which spans from January 13 to January 30. Owners who successfully enroll in the program will be provided with essential equipment, including a V2V power discharge gun valued at 500 yuan. The distribution of this equipment will commence on January 20, with shipments being sent out in sequential batches.
