On the occasion of BAIC New Energy's Smart Mobility Technology Day, BAIC New Energy and Pony.ai unveiled a broad and profound strategic alliance within the 'Five-in-One' framework. Leveraging the success of L4-level Robotaxi mass production and operational deployment, the duo is set to broaden their cooperative horizons, constructing a seamless continuum from technological innovation and R&D to full-fledged commercial deployment. Since forging their partnership in November 2024, the two entities have co-launched the ARCFOX Alpha T5 Robotaxi variant, culminating in the mass production of over 600 units and establishing a self-sustaining cycle encompassing 'production, testing, and deployment.' Looking ahead, the collaboration will span five pivotal areas: collaborative product development, joint market penetration, shared industrial supply chains, co-creation of ecosystems, and financial synergy. This alliance signifies a pivotal leap for China's intelligent connected vehicle sector, propelling it towards a holistic, ecosystem-driven competitive landscape. BAIC New Energy also envisions forging alliances with additional partners to collectively spearhead transformational changes in the global mobility landscape.
