On January 11, BYD rolled out the 2026 Song Pro DM-i with an extended 220km range. This latest model offers a remarkable CLTC-certified pure electric driving range of 220km, along with a total range of up to 1,600km when combining a full tank of fuel and a full battery charge. When operating in fuel-only mode, it achieves an NEDC-rated fuel consumption of just 3.2L per 100km. For a limited period, the entire range of this new car is priced between 99,800 and 127,800 yuan.
The new car is outfitted with a high-capacity blade battery designed specifically for plug-in hybrid vehicles. This battery enables urban commuters to travel on pure electric power for up to a week, or even two weeks in many cases, with just a single charge.
In terms of smart features, the vehicle comes equipped with an intelligent child safety seat and a smart neck massager. It also supports seamless interconnection with various devices and offers voice control functionality. Moreover, the car introduces an integrated intelligent heating and cooling refrigerator, along with ventilation and heating for the front seats.
For enhanced driving assistance, the car is fitted with BYD's 'Divine Eyes C-Assisted Driving System,' which provides highway navigation support and all-scenario parking capabilities. In terms of safety, the vehicle now includes a highway tire blowout stability control system, contributing to a robust and comprehensive safety framework.
