On December 23, Tsinghua University played host to the grand inauguration ceremony of the Tsinghua University - SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Joint Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. Wu Huaqiang, the Vice President of Tsinghua University, and Lv Juncheng, the General Manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling, were present at the event and delivered insightful speeches. The ceremony was skillfully moderated by Wang Jianqiang, who serves as the Dean of the School of Vehicle and Mobility at Tsinghua University.

The newly established joint research center is set to concentrate its efforts on four key technological areas: intelligent drive chassis systems, intelligent powertrain technologies, intelligent driving solutions, and intelligent mobility services. Its overarching goal is to foster and deepen collaborative innovation within the framework of industry-university-research partnerships.
