On December 25th, it was reported that GAC's Hyper brand model A800 officially commenced R&D testing for L3 conditional autonomous driving on highways, with a maximum test speed of 120km/h. This testing has been approved by the relevant authorities in Guangzhou and is one of the few L3 conditional autonomous driving highway testing projects approved in China.
