On December 25th, as per New Taige's official WeChat post, the company has recently inked a strategic cooperation pact with Weilai New Energy. Leveraging their respective strengths in precision manufacturing and solid-state battery technology, the duo aims to delve into the markets of embodied intelligence and commercial robotics, thereby fostering the extensive utilization of solid-state batteries within the robotics industry. Under the terms of the agreement, both entities will form a collaborative R&D team to craft specialized offerings tailored for the robotics market. New Taige will undertake the design and production of robust, lightweight, and highly adaptable robot structural parts, whereas Weilai New Energy will concentrate on the R&D of high-energy-density, rapid-charging, long-lasting, and exceptionally safe solid-state battery systems designed specifically for robots. Moreover, the partners will also co-establish a 'Robot Energy and Structure Collaborative Innovation Platform' to propel the integrated design of solid-state battery systems and robot structural components, as well as to embark on pioneering technological explorations.
