According to disclosures from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Hyundai Motor America has submitted a recall application involving 51,587 vehicles sold in the U.S. market. The recall is due to two safety hazards in the vehicles: firstly, the trailer lights may not function properly, increasing the risk of collisions while driving; secondly, there is a potential short-circuit hazard in the related electrical circuits, which could lead to fires.
