Recently, Changan Automobile was granted China's inaugural special license plate for L3-level conditional autonomous driving, designated as "Yu AD0001Z," by the Traffic Management Corps of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau in Chongqing. This license plate is set to be initially installed on Changan Shenlan automotive models, which are managed by Chongqing Changan Vehicle Connectivity Technology Co., Ltd. It authorizes the conduct of on-road pilot tests on specific, designated road segments within Chongqing.
