On December 22, Liu Jiaming, the CEO of Qijing Motors, made an announcement: the company's inaugural hunting coupe, which is positioned as a model in the 'multi-million-dollar' bracket, has officially kicked off nationwide road testing. Liu Jiaming, along with Jin Yuzhi from Huawei, have already taken the prototype for a test drive. This vehicle marks the inaugural project to be rolled out under Huawei Qiankun's 'Jing' series. It boasts three major selling points: 'aesthetics worthy of a million dollars, driving control that rivals million-dollar standards, and intelligence on par with million-dollar expectations.' In January 2025, the Qijing brand was co-founded by GAC and Huawei Qiankun. It positions itself as a premium, intelligent new energy vehicle brand, distinct from GAC's existing brand portfolio. The model is slated for a market launch and subsequent deliveries in June 2026. Currently, a joint team from both companies is deeply involved in collaborative tuning during the final phases of product development.
