Today, XPENG Motors inked a cooperation pact with Malaysia's EPMB Group, officially inaugurating its localized production initiative in Malaysia. This milestone represents XPENG's third foray into global localized production. The project is poised to commence mass production in 2026, with the ambition of establishing a strategic stronghold to cater to the right-hand drive vehicle market across the ASEAN region. In the initial 10 - month period of this year, XPENG Motors secured a spot among the top six in local pure electric brand sales in Malaysia. Moreover, its X9 model clinched the title of local high-end electric MPV sales champion in September. Looking ahead, XPENG Motors is set to further propel its localization strategy in Southeast Asia, delivering top-tier products and services to the local market.
