On December 10, Samsung SDI disclosed that its American subsidiary has entered into a contract with a U.S.-based company specializing in the development and operation of energy infrastructure. This agreement pertains to the supply of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The total value of the contract surpasses KRW 2 trillion (equivalent to roughly US$1.36 billion), and the deliveries are slated to occur over a three-year span, commencing in 2027.
