On December 9, news emerged that on December 8, Shen Fei, the Senior Vice President of NIO and President of Ledo Auto, stated in an interview that Ledo Auto would not readily resort to price cuts.

On December 5, Ledo Auto officially unveiled its plan to double the battery capacity at its nationwide battery swap stations. The company announced its intention to invest more than 8,000 new battery packs into its national battery swap network, with the full deployment expected to be completed by mid-January 2026.

Shen Fei disclosed that the company would capitalize on the daily electricity price differentials between peak and off-peak hours to generate profits. He cited an example: In regions like Zhejiang, each battery at a battery swap station can yield a price difference of roughly 1.2 yuan per kilowatt-hour. Given an average usable capacity of 50 kilowatt-hours per battery, under optimal conditions, it can produce a daily profit of 60 yuan, translating to an annual profit of approximately 20,000 yuan. On a nationwide scale, this figure can generally reach 12,000 to 13,000 yuan per battery, rendering it highly cost-effective over the entire lifecycle of the batteries.
