The Passenger Car Association has just published the automotive sales data for China in November 2025. According to the data, the total wholesale sales of passenger cars across the nation reached 2.998 million units, with new energy vehicle (NEV) sales soaring to 1.706 million units. The NEV penetration rate soared past 56.9%, representing an impressive 8-percentage-point jump compared to the same period in 2024.

When it comes to the top ten best-selling models, new energy vehicles dominated, claiming nine out of the ten positions. Leading the pack was the BYD Song, which sold 56,000 units. Right on its heels was the Tesla Model Y, with 55,000 units sold.

The Xiaomi YU7 also made waves, selling over 33,000 units and breaking into the top ten for the first time. This achievement makes it the first SUV model from Xiaomi Automotive to earn a spot on the list. Since its launch in June, the model's delivery volumes have shown a steady month-by-month increase, a clear sign of its high acceptance in the market.
