The Tesla FSD (Supervised) initiative is rapidly advancing its development across Europe, and Spain has emerged as a pivotal testing ground. In July 2025, the Spanish Directorate - General of Traffic rolled out the ES - AV plan, aiming to set consistent standards for autonomous driving tests. At present, Tesla Spain has secured approval for 19 vehicles to carry out tests on public roads, and there's a strong possibility that the size of the test fleet will grow in the coming days. Tesla is authorized to conduct an unlimited number of tests on any roads of national significance in Spain. Moreover, it has already progressed to the third phase of testing, which comes with fewer constraints.
