Back in July of this year, Tesla made its formal foray into the Indian market. It inaugurated its inaugural showroom in Mumbai and had plans to establish a more expansive showroom in Gurugram, a satellite town of Delhi. Nevertheless, the company's business expansion has been sluggish, with a mere tally of slightly over 100 vehicles finding buyers since July. At present, the Model Y stands as the sole model officially marketed by Tesla in India. Yet, its exorbitant price tag and the scarcity of charging infrastructure have acted as significant impediments to sales growth.
