Yesterday, Li Auto unveiled its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, revealing quarterly revenue of RMB 27.4 billion and a cumulative revenue of RMB 83.5 billion for the first nine months of the year. The company continues to lead among new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers. However, the MEGA recall incident took a toll, resulting in a net loss of RMB 624.4 million for the quarter. During the earnings call, Li Auto’s founder, Li Xiang, declared that starting from the fourth quarter of this year, the company will adopt a startup-style management approach. He also outlined three key areas of transformation: organizational structure, product strategy, and technological innovation.

In terms of organizational structure, Li Auto will move away from the traditional professional manager model to better navigate rapid industry and technological shifts. Regarding product strategy, the company will prioritize the development of embodied intelligent robots over the next decade, with a strong emphasis on autonomous and proactive service functionalities. On the technological front, Li Auto aims to construct an AI system that diverges from conventional linguistic intelligence, and Li Xiang shared details about core technological advancements, including the company’s self-developed M100 chip.
