The Xiaomi YU7 has made its way into the top 10 list of global new energy vehicle sales and stands out as the Chinese brand boasting the highest average price. In October, Xiaomi Automobile achieved retail sales of 48,654 units, marking a new record for a single month. The wholesale sales volume of its flagship model, the YU7, reached 33,662 units, representing 69.2% of the total sales. It commands an unparalleled leading position in the pure electric SUV market segment, priced between 200,000 and 300,000 yuan. Since its launch in July, cumulative sales have surpassed 70,000 units. Its success can be attributed to its precise product positioning and superior configurations, exemplified by the standard inclusion of an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform across all its models. The swift surge in sales is a result of efficient production scaling, with both Phase I and Phase II factories designed to have an annual production capacity of 150,000 units each. The robust market performance is also mirrored in the financial data, with Xiaomi Corporation reporting revenue of 113.1 billion yuan in the third quarter and an adjusted net profit of 11.3 billion yuan. Vehicle deliveries for the quarter exceeded 100,000 units, marking the first time the company achieved profitability in a single quarter.
