On November 27, the Information Office of the State Council conducted a regular policy briefing to unveil measures designed to better align supply and demand in the consumer goods market and to further drive consumption. Yang Di, a representative from the Department of Market Operation and Consumer Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, emphasized that the consumption of goods plays a pivotal role in spurring economic growth and enhancing public welfare. Looking ahead, the Ministry of Commerce will initiate pilot reforms in the area of vehicle circulation and consumption. This will involve facilitating the trade of used cars and fostering the growth of post-sale services, including vehicle customization, leasing, motorsport events, and recreational vehicle (RV) camping. The overarching aim is to bolster car buying activities across the entire supply chain.
