On November 24th, autonomous driving firm Pony.ai and the travel service platform Yangguang Chuxing unveiled a strategic cooperation pact. The two entities are set to embark on an all-encompassing and profound collaborative effort, with autonomous driving travel at its core. Together, they aim to build a sizable fleet of autonomous vehicles, with the goal of accelerating the rollout of autonomous driving travel services in major cities throughout China. The inaugural batch of this fleet is slated for launch within this year, and will subsequently extend its reach to high-demand travel scenarios, including city centers, airports, and train stations.
