On November 21, 2025, Xiaomi made a groundbreaking move by unveiling MiMo-Embodied and fully releasing its source code to the public. This marks the debut of the world's first cross-domain embodied large model. This innovative model is designed to seamlessly handle six pivotal tasks, spanning both the realm of embodied intelligence (which includes affordance reasoning, task planning, and spatial understanding) and autonomous driving (covering environmental perception, state prediction, and driving planning). It achieves a remarkable feat of unified modeling across these two distinct yet interconnected domains. The model's prowess was evident as it showcased comprehensive leadership in 29 core benchmark tests. Looking ahead, Xiaomi has ambitious plans to integrate this cutting-edge model into its self-developed robotic vacuum cleaners, factory AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), and the sophisticated intelligent driving system of the SU7, with implementation slated to commence from the first quarter of 2026.
