Today’s news indicates that BYD’s cumulative vehicle sales in the UK have surpassed the 50,000-unit mark. Specifically, in October 2025 alone, sales reached 3,499 vehicles, bringing the total sales from January to October of the same year to 39,103 units. Since introducing its first passenger car model, the BYD ATTO 3, to the UK market in March 2023, BYD has progressively launched multiple models. In July of this year, it was announced that the Fang Cheng Bao brand would enter the UK market the following year, while the Yangwang brand is slated to arrive in 2027. The UK has emerged as BYD’s largest market outside of China, with September sales experiencing an impressive year-on-year surge of 880%. The head of BYD UK has revealed that additional new hybrid and pure electric models will be rolled out in the coming months. He also highlighted that the company has recently opened its 100th retail store, and described the brand’s development prospects in the UK as “exceptionally promising.”
