The Chinese edition of Tesla's 2024 Impact Report has now been made public. According to the report, the likelihood of a fire occurring in Tesla vehicles is just approximately one-eighth of that in conventional fuel-powered vehicles. This finding is drawn from data provided by the U.S. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Specifically, in 2023, across the United States, for every 1 billion miles driven, regular vehicles encountered 55 fire-related incidents, whereas Tesla vehicles only experienced 6.5 such events.
