On November 14, 2025, Li Auto made public statements concerning its handling of two quality - related issues.

The first issue pertained to coolant leakage in certain 2024 MEGA vehicles. The contributing factors were as follows: Firstly, there was insufficient verification of the coolant, which led to the accountability of personnel from the R&D Operations - Materials Technology division. Secondly, the battery test verification and leakage risk assessment were not thorough enough, resulting in the responsibility being assigned to the Vehicle Electrification - Battery team. Thirdly, there were inappropriate responses during the coolant leakage risk assessment and in dealing with user vehicles, making personnel from the R&D Operations - R&D Quality, Quality Safety, Service, and other departments accountable.

The second issue involved abnormal noise in the lower control arm bushings of some 2025 L - Series vehicles. This was traced back to inadequate grease test verification for the lower control arm bushings of the 2025 L - Series, holding the personnel from the Vehicle Electrification - Intelligent Chassis Department responsible.

Li Auto has implemented disciplinary measures against the relevant employees. These include terminating their contracts, setting their annual performance ratings no higher than "I" (assuming "I" represents a certain low - level rating in their system), canceling their year - end bonuses, and disqualifying them from promotions.
