Recently, reports have emerged indicating that Tesla is gearing up to further expand its Gigafactory in Texas. Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, disclosed that the company has set an ambitious goal of manufacturing 10 million Optimus robots each year within a specialized facility slated for construction at the factory. At present, the planned timeline for the mass production of Optimus at the Texas Gigafactory remains set for 2027. Han Yongfeng, the General Manager of Yijiu (Hainan) Private Fund Management Co., Ltd., remarked that, taking into account the technological maturity and advancements in the industrial supply chain, the industry widely anticipates 2025 to herald the 'inaugural year of mass production' for the humanoid robot sector. Furthermore, 2026 is poised to be a pivotal juncture for the extensive commercialization of humanoid robots within the industrial realm.
