Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, disclosed that the company has set an ambitious goal of manufacturing 10 million Optimus robots each year within a specialized facility slated for construction at the factory. At present, the planned timeline for the mass production of Optimus at the Texas Gigafactory remains set for 2027.
