On November 12, the 2025 World Power Battery Conference commenced in Yibin, Sichuan Province. Zhang Jinhua, who serves as both the President of the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Executive Director of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicles Innovation Center, remarked that all-solid-state batteries are poised to achieve technological milestones and demonstrate their potential for industrialization. Owing to their inherent safety features and ultra-high energy density, all-solid-state batteries have emerged as a global focus. Presently, they are at a pivotal juncture, with breakthroughs in fundamental scientific research and overcoming key technological hurdles for industrialization being of paramount importance. With notable advancements in crucial technologies, such as interface regulation, the realization of all-solid-state batteries that operate without external pressure is on the horizon. It is projected that by around 2030, all-solid-state batteries will have undergone pilot-scale validation and will be implemented in small-batch vehicle applications.
