On November 11, a car owner lodged a complaint, stating that despite purchasing a vehicle through an "agent," they were unable to take delivery of the car as stipulated in the agreement and were potentially facing financial losses. The previous day, November 10, Shenlan Auto issued an official statement clarifying that, following thorough verification, the "agent" in question had no formal cooperative ties with Shenlan Auto. The company further emphasized that the agent's actions had severely infringed upon the rights and interests of consumers, as well as the lawful rights and interests of Shenlan Auto. At present, the public security authorities have stepped in to conduct an investigation, and the "agent" may be subject to legal custody on suspicion of engaging in criminal activities.
