According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on the 11th, from January to October this year, China witnessed a sustained high-speed growth in both the production and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs). The figures showed that during this period, China produced and sold a total of 27.692 million and 27.687 million automobiles, respectively, marking year-on-year increases of over 10% for both categories. Specifically, the production and sales of NEVs reached 13.015 million and 12.943 million units, respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 33.1% and 32.7%. Remarkably, in October, the monthly sales of NEVs accounted for more than half of the total new vehicle sales for the first time, hitting a record high of 51.6%.
