According to data released by the National Passenger Car Association, during the first nine months of 2025, China exported a total of 357,700 vehicles to Russia. This figure represents a staggering 58% year-on-year decrease. Consequently, Russia has ceded its long-held title as the primary destination for Chinese automotive exports. In contrast, during the same timeframe, China shipped 410,700 vehicles to Mexico, thereby elevating Mexico to the status of the new largest market for Chinese automotive exports.
