On November 11, the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce unveiled adjustments to the province's 2025 vehicle trade-in subsidy scheme, opting to halt the vehicle scrapping and replacement subsidy initiative. Here are the detailed arrangements:
Commencing at 0:00 on November 13, 2025, Hubei Province will cease implementing the 2025 vehicle scrapping and replacement subsidy policy. Individual consumers who have secured a Uniform Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales for a new vehicle in Hubei Province by (and including) November 12, 2025 (as per the invoice issuance date), and have also obtained, before November 15, 2025, the Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate for the new vehicle (based on the registration date), the Scrap Vehicle Recycling Certificate (according to the vehicle handover date), and the Motor Vehicle Cancellation Certificate (as per the cancellation date) for the old vehicle, and who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the 2025 vehicle scrapping and replacement subsidy in Hubei Province, are mandated to submit comprehensive and precise subsidy application materials. This can be done through the National Automobile Circulation Information Management System website or the 'Vehicle Trade-In' mini-program before 24:00 on November 15, 2025. Applications that fall short of the requirements will be rejected, and those submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
