On November 19, Porsche is poised to reveal its all-electric Cayenne, boasting an anticipated peak power output of up to 1,000 horsepower. This electric model is slated to enter the market in early 2026, and will be offered in tandem with the third-generation gasoline-powered Cayenne, a strategic move to hedge risks. Based on Volkswagen Group's cutting-edge 800V high-performance electric vehicle platform, the new model sports a markedly distinct look compared to its gasoline counterpart, featuring an extended length and wheelbase. Following the introduction of the standard version, a Coupe variant will make its debut next year. This variant will be outfitted with a 108kWh battery, enabling a driving range of over 600km. The vehicle's peak charging power can reach 400kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in a mere 16 minutes. Moreover, it supports wireless inductive charging. The powertrain is composed of two permanent magnet synchronous motors, while the interior is lavishly equipped with the most display screens Porsche has ever incorporated into a single model.
