On November 9 (local time), Siddhant Awasthi, who served as the project leader for Tesla's Cybertruck, made public his decision to depart, marking the end of his more than eight-year tenure at Tesla. As per his LinkedIn profile, Awasthi began his journey at Tesla as an intern. Over time, he rose to take charge of the entire Cybertruck project, overseeing every stage from its engineering development all the way through to its large-scale mass production. His core responsibilities encompassed product strategy formulation, quality enhancement, and supply chain management. Additionally, since July of the previous year, he has taken on the role of project leader for the Model 3.
