Early this year, Huawei unveiled its megawatt flash charging technology, tailored specifically for all-electric trucks. Recently, a video surfaced online, shared by a netizen, showcasing a real-world test of this innovative charging system. The footage reveals that Huawei's megawatt flash charging setup comprises three charging guns, with two of them actively engaged in charging. According to official specifications, each gun is capable of handling a current of up to 1,200 amperes (A). When these two guns operate in parallel, they deliver an astonishingly high current of 2,400 A, tripling the capacity of a standard charging station, which typically maxes out at 800 A. This translates to a peak power output of 1.5 megawatts (MW), or 1,500 kilowatts (kW).
