At the inaugural Autonomous Driving Mobility Ecosystem Forum, Li Wenguang, who serves as the President of Huawei's Intelligent Driving Product Line, highlighted that the swift progression of autonomous driving technology is propelling the automotive industry towards a transformation, where vehicles will evolve into intelligent, mobile living environments. He projected that high-speed L3 autonomous driving would be primed for extensive commercial application by 2026. Additionally, he foresaw that urban L4 autonomous driving would embark on pilot commercial operations, with large-scale commercial deployment slated for 2027. This timeline also includes the initiation of pilot projects for unmanned mainline logistics in the near future, culminating in their full-fledged commercial utilization by 2028.
