According to news from the industry supply chain, Lens Technology has been tapped to supply crucial components for XPENG robots, specifically the head shields, agile hands, and metal structural parts of the robot's fuselage. Nevertheless, XPENG's plans for large-scale production remain unconfirmed. On November 5, XPENG Motors showcased its latest humanoid robot, IRON, at the 2025 XPENG Tech Day. This robot boasts a human-like spine, bionic muscles, and a fully covered flexible skin design. The company has officially declared its intention to commence mass production by the end of 2026.
