On November 5, Mercedes-Benz officially rolled out the brand-new, fully electric long-wheelbase iteration of the CLA. Two variants of this model are available, with prices ranging from RMB 249,000 to RMB 285,600.

The new car features the brand's latest design language. Inside, it's outfitted with a triple-screen display setup and the cutting-edge MB.OS operating system. The top-tier trim even boasts advanced driver assistance capabilities.

Built on the MMA architecture, this electric CLA is driven by a single electric motor paired with a two-speed transmission. It's powered by an 89kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering an impressive CLTC range of 866km.

At the launch event, Mercedes-Benz executives addressed the playful internet memes head-on, stressing that Mercedes-Benz is a premium brand and in no way a "generic" or "off-the-shelf" electric vehicle.
