On November 3rd, Beijing time, Bloomberg reported that the U.S. automotive safety regulatory body was probing whether certain Tesla models' door handles had defects. Within days of initiating the investigation, the agency was inundated with additional complaints. These complaints highlighted that battery malfunctions were hindering owners from entering or exiting their vehicles, and in some distressing cases, children were trapped inside. The NHTSA has urged Tesla to furnish pertinent documents by December 10th, encompassing details such as the volume of complaints, accident records, and legal dispute information.
