On October 30th, reports surfaced indicating that Tesla's (TSLA.O) Cybertruck has already been subject to double-digit recalls within less than two years of its market introduction. This model has been beset by recurring problems, failing to win broad consumer acceptance. The most recent recall affects 6,197 Cybertrucks and is attributed to potential issues in the installation of off-road light bar accessories. These accessories might detach, thereby heightening the risk of collisions. According to documents that Tesla submitted to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website, no accidents, injuries, or fatalities have been linked to this particular issue thus far. This recall represents the tenth time Tesla has had to recall the Cybertruck. Just a week prior, Tesla had also initiated a safety recall for 63,619 pickup trucks due to parking lights that were excessively bright. Previous recalls have addressed issues such as loose steel trim pieces, inverter malfunctions, and warning light fonts that were too small.
