On October 29, Nissan Motor announced that it would introduce the legendary Patrol model to the Japanese market in the first half of the fiscal year 2027. The introduction of this all-terrain SUV marks Nissan's return to a market segment in Japan that it has not been involved in since the discontinuation of the Safari model in 2007. Additionally, the revised Nissan Ariya all-electric crossover model is also planned to be launched in Japan later this fiscal year.
