On October 29th, figures released by the CPCA Branch revealed that between October 1st and 26th, the national market witnessed retail sales of 901,000 new energy passenger vehicles. This figure stood unchanged compared to the same timeframe in the previous October, though it reflected an 8% decline from the preceding month. Since the start of the year, cumulative retail sales have soared to 9.771 million units, marking a robust 22% increase year-on-year.
Concurrently, the wholesale volume of new energy vehicles from passenger car manufacturers nationwide reached 1.034 million units during the same period, experiencing a 4% uptick year-on-year but a 5% downturn month-on-month. Year-to-date, the cumulative wholesale volume has climbed to 11.48 million units, showcasing a significant 29% surge compared to the same period last year.
