On October 29, 2025, the Tokyo Auto Show opened. As the only Chinese manufacturer participating in the exhibition, BYD introduced its DM super hybrid technology in Japan for the first time and launched its first plug-in hybrid model, the Sealion 06 DM-i (SEALION 6). It also globally premiered the K-EV BYD RACCO model customized for the Japanese market.
